Launched on Monday 14 November 2011,  Ask a Smallholder is a new extension of SmallholdingCourses.co.uk which has been established for nearly three years and is a comprehensive directory of smallholding related courses and craft courses that are run throughout the UK and beyond.

The aim of Ask a Smallholder is to be a useful resource for people looking for brief and concise answers on a variety of topics, for example “Are there any goat keeping courses in Devon?” or “How much land do I need to keep three or four llamas?”.

Membership is open to all – smallholders, wannabe smallholders and those with interests in specific areas.
